Each Way Bet Calculator – FAQ
An each way bet is two bets in one: one for the selection to win, and one for it to place. It's common in horse racing and golf.
The place part pays out at a fraction of the win odds if your selection finishes within the number of places paid (e.g. top 3 or top 4).
Because an each way bet is two bets, your total stake is double the amount you enter (e.g. £5 each way = £10 total).
If your horse doesn't finish in a placing position, both the win and place parts of your each way bet lose.
